It’s about time. Microsoft finally ceased development on Windows Phone OS or whatever it struggled to hold on to. Rumor has it that Microsoft will try to build the UWP platform into Android. I can’t forsee too much of that happening as Android still holds the market in the mobile phone operating systems.
